My Story

Although the accomplishments and accolades I earned throughout my softball career were meaningful, the journey was the biggest takeaway and life lesson I use to this day.

My journey may be similar to what your daughter is facing now.

I faced many obstacles during my career, such as coaches who did not believe in my abilities as a player, injury setbacks, and a lack of self-confidence.

Growing up, I was not the tallest, fastest, or strongest player on my team. But deep down inside, I knew that what would separate me from the rest was my work ethic. Working on my craft every day. Watching College Softball Highlights, rolling up a pair of socks to pitch into my couch in the living room, practicing outside in the winter while it was 15 degrees outside. I was always finding a way to become 1% better every day.

Instead of allowing those doubts to define me, I decided to use them as fuel for motivation. This process was not easy, but it was an important life lesson that hard work, belief in my abilities, and persistence pay off.

As a pitching instructor, I plan to bring that same determination to my coaching style. My goal is to inspire my students, who may be experiencing a similar journey.
